Come in sogno.

- So why are we talking?
- We’re talking because we have to.
- How do you mean?
- I mean that sometimes you don’t talk to get anywhere, you just talk. It’s like with art, you can’t always know what you’re searching for, you search, you look, to stay wrapped up in the illusion of an all but useless surprise.
- Talking’s a discovery in itself, a relationship that exists in the space dividing thought from language, from the mouth to the mouth of the other, the language of the other and the thought of the other. And at times, this language changes        thought and thought changes language, in a continuous loop.
- You know when you’re in the car and you look out the window? I’m driving a lot lately. There are these two images of time: speeding outside, with the dynamic image of the guardrail which you can’t grasp; and still inside, with the                  speedometer slowly rising and falling, hands on the wheel, small movements of the feet.
- Like a continuous montage of two heterogeneous times.
- I think about the relationship a bit like this, never at the same point.
- A constant chase. An impossible permanence of continuous images. All the words, gestures, calls, parties and yawns.
- As if, while we’re communicating, we’re in that car, in a world of meaning that exists only at that moment, between engaging and disengaging, between a launch forward and a bringing back. And the world keeps turning, but what                happens  is suspended.
- That suspension, as you call it, is the potential for language to take us inside and outside the world. To create discourses that in our minds are vivid, real, yet non-existent.
- In fact, there are perfect moments in which the world doesn’t exist.
- And others in which it does, and that’s OK.
- Even if it’s useless?
- Even if it’s an illusion.
- At times it’s as if that relationship, that small distance, is always on the threshold between the unfillable and the overflowing.
- What’s important is that it remains elusive. Dreamlike.
